TMC-885 Jumper Settings

Future Domain was bought out by Adaptec several years ago, and have two locations where you can get information of the cards from:

BIOS Memory Address - W1 & W2

W1W2Address
OpenOpenCA00:000 - CA00:1FFF **
OpenClosedC800:000 - C800:1FFF
ClosedOpenCE00:000 - CE00:1FFF
ClosedClosedDE00:000 - DE00:1FFF

IRQ Selection - W4

The jumper settings are read with the card in the upright position. A ':' means that the jumper is removed, and a 'X' means that there is a jumper in that position.

Future Domain 25 pin connector pinout

The Future Domain SCSI card has a non-standard SCSI pin out on their cards. They look the same as the connectors used by Apple Macs, but are different.

Used on TMC-830/845 and TMC-850/860/885.

Note: Use the Macintosh pinout below for TMC-850M, TMC-1610M, TMC-1650/1670 or MCS-600

Pin 9 is NOT CONNECTED

Macintosh Plus SCSI Connector Pinouts

Note that this connector is NON COMPLIANT WITH ANY SCSI STANDARD! The grounding is insufficient and does not allow for proper twisted-pair transmission line implementation. It is recommended that a short adapter cable be used to convert to the more common Centronics style 50 pin connection rather than extend the 25 pin connection any further than necessary.
